Grease is not my friend!

Holy smokes. Last night was a hard one. After eating that amazing burger from Villains I was up all night with a stomach ache. I'm thinking my stomach ache was caused by all the grease from the burger and fries. I guess that is my bodies way of telling me not to put grease inside of it. But the burger and fries were *really* good!

Around 3:30 today I was able to get a really good workout in. I'm still doing the Couch to 5K program in hopes of running a 5k in May. This workout was a little tougher than the last one because I upped the speed at which I ran. However, I felt fantastic after I was all done!

Breakfast

Today started off with a Glo bar:

And a Diet Dr. Pepper. I really needed the caffeine boost this morning.

Lunch

Breakfast held me over for awhile so I didn't need to eat lunch until after 1:00 pm. This was a good thing because I had meetings from 11:00am - 1:00pm.

I ordered some penne pasta with lots of broccoli and peas. The sauce was an alfredo and pesto mix. So good!

My lunch time drink was a large water with some Crystal Light lemonade.

Happy Hour

The husband and I went to Ceres after work and ordered a round of cocktails. I had a (not pictured) Captain and Diet Coke.

Today the staff was handing out mini philly sandwiches. They were delicious and just the right size for an after work snack!

I also munched on a Pink Lady apple during happy hour:)

Dinner

Once we got home my fantastic husband made a great salad for dinner. It had all kind of flavors in it! Lettuce, cheese, olives, peppers, sprouts and a bunch of other things. This was so nice of him because he *hates* eating salads!

Question:

What is your favorite salad topping?

Mine would probably be cheese. I just can't get enough cheese in my diet;)

  1. I have so many favorite toppings and it depends on my mood. Sometimes I will have chicken, almonds with strawberries. Other times I will have avocado, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Even other times just tomotoes, cucumbers, and pepers. I don't do dressing anymore though, I found I rather like spices

  2. My belly protests after too much grease, too. I've learned to stay away from the stuff!

I love beans or berries as salad toppers....

  4. I like to put fake bacon bits on my salad. I'm also doing the C25K for a run in May. I'm pretty sure not the same run though. :) Sorry about your stomach ache.
